I was brought onto the Miami Redhawks Esports team as the Lead Graphic Designer for their upcoming 2025 rebrand. This was a comprehensive rebrand of everything Miami Esports related, including all social media accounts, live stream setups, and gameday/results posts.
The goal of this rebrand was to move Miami Esports' social media presence away from its inconsistent branding that focused on dark assets and glitchy effects, and toward a direction more closely aligned with other Miami institution athletics. Our new brand identity revolves around thin red boxes on top of plain white backgrounds. Games featured on stream in the fall are shown with a thick red border around the entire flyer, while those featured in the spring are shown with a thin red border and thin lines intersecting around the outside of the flyer.
In addition to completely redoing our gamedays, our socials and Twitch stream also were updated to fit the new branding. Once again moving away from the dark black and red glitch theme, and opting for the white and red base, with thin red boxes woven into the background.
